Welcome to our blog!

Hello! We are the Earthwatch Conserving Wetlands and Traditional Agriculture in Mexico expedition 2017. We'll be working in Xochimilco on the outskirts of Mexico City from July 30 - August 5. We'll be posting regularly on the history, ecology and current conditions in the area and what it's like to be part of an Earthwatch expedition. So please check back with us and ask any questions you have in the comments section. We'll get right back to you!

Kerry Stahelski, Rockdale Recovery High School, Worcester Massachusetts

Hi! My name is Kerry and I teach Biology I and II, Chemistry, and senior science electives at a recovery high school. This is my fifth year of teaching and my second year at RRHS. This is my first Earthwatch expedition and I can't wait to get started and meet you all! I'm looking forward to learning a ton and bringing all that knowledge back to my students. See you soon!
